Edwards is a down-valley community along the Eagle River, about ten minutes’ drive west of Beaver Creek. It has its own center, the Riverwalk at Edwards, with restaurants, coffee shops and a supermarket, and many of the valley’s full-time residents live here.
Made for Longer Stays
Nobody flies to Colorado for a long weekend in Edwards. But for a stay of a week or more, or a trip with some remote work in it, the calculation changes: you get a house rather than a condo, a real kitchen, and neighbors who live here all year.
Getting to the Mountains
Beaver Creek is about ten minutes by car and Vail about 25. The regional Core Transit bus runs through Edwards to Avon and Vail if you would rather leave the car behind.
