Staying by the Vail Golf Course
The Vail Golf Course neighborhood sits east of Vail Village along Gore Creek, between Ford Park and East Vail. It is residential and quiet, with townhomes and houses rather than large condo buildings, and it is on the free Town of Vail bus route.
Our Summer Favorite
From June to September this is the location we recommend most often. The Vail Golf Club’s 18 holes are outside the door, a paved recreation path follows the creek into the village, and Ford Park — with the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater — is close by.
In Winter
The golf course becomes the Vail Nordic Center, with groomed cross-country and snowshoe trails. For downhill skiing, the free bus reaches Golden Peak and Vail Village in a few minutes; Golden Peak is the closest lift.
Who It Suits
Summer visitors, golfers, and guests who would rather have a house with a quiet street and some green space than a view of the gondola line. You trade walk-to-lift convenience for space and calm.
